We’re thrilled that you are exploring career opportunities where you can continue to make a positive difference every day to keep our communities healthy, fed, clean and safe.DutiesWe currently have an exciting opportunity for a Portfolio Account Manager to join our team based in our Widnes Office.This is an office-based role in a fast moving and dynamic environment.The successful candidate will work with an agreed base of existing customers, whilst also working in partnership with Sales and Product Management on core products within our portfolios, ensuring we achieve targeted growth in all areas.Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- To deliver sustainable and ongoing growth
- Ability, desire and motivation to support and work as ‘one team’ within C&S with specific focus our packed product portfolios
- To control customer sales attrition, grow trading customers and deliver on spot sales
- Activity management
- Salesforce (CRM sales tool) update and maintenance
- Q (Pricing tool) update and maintenance
- A passion for selling, a desire to be successful, and the ability to build strong relationships internally and with customers. Picking up the phone and speaking to as many customers as possible is a key action for what this role requires
- If you are the successful candidate, you will show the necessary desires to learn to be a highly skilled salesperson. Ideally you will have experience of managing existing accounts
- The ability to work effectively within all levels of the organisation is essential
- Having the flexibility and positive attitude towards teamwork is also a fundamental requirement
- You must be organised and able to prioritise with effective time management skills
- You must also be proficient at handling multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
