The Head of Finance will oversee all financial operations, ensuring effective management and compliance within the organisation.
  • Manage all financial reporting and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with relevant standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective governance.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, promoting professional growth and collaboration.
  • Provide expert financial advice to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including audits and regulatory filings.
  • Monitor cash flow and financial performance to support organisational objectives.

4-6 month contract, based in OxfordHybrid working, team leaderA successful Head of Finance/ Group Financial Controller should have:
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in financial leadership within a large complex business.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards. ( UK GAAP/ FRS)
  • Experience in leading and developing a finance team.
  • Experience in multi-site or managing finance for multiple legal entities
  • A proactive approach to implementing financial improvements and strategies.
