As a Sports Coach, this role is ideal for someone with a passion for sports who can motivate and guide students to develop their skills, confidence, and fitness in a positive and inclusive environment.Responsibilities as a Sports Coach:
- Deliver fun and engaging PE lessons and sports activities tailored to pupils of different ages and abilities.
- Support students in developing physical skills, coordination, and positive attitudes toward fitness.
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behaviour in all activities.
- Assist in planning and supervising extracurricular sports clubs, competitions, and events.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure all students are supported effectively.
- Prior experience coaching children or young people, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge and skills in a variety of sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication, motivation, and organisational skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for inspiring students.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
- A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
