This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with classroom or tutoring experience who are looking to build confidence and gain further school-based experience before training to teach.The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring high-quality learning experiences.
- Use your personality, creativity, and school guidance to engage students effectively.
- Confidently manage classroom behaviour in line with each school's behaviour policy.
- Be adaptable, quick-thinking, and able to respond positively to changing situations.
- Create a supportive and inclusive environment that inspires students to succeed.
- A UK Bachelor's degree (essential).
- Previous classroom or tutoring experience (essential).
- Strong behaviour management skills and resilience.
- A genuine passion for working with young people and supporting their development.
- Graduates aspiring to move into teaching are particularly encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work flexibly across different schools and subjects.
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two references covering the last 2 years.
