This is helping them to stand out from the crowd as they're finding their customers want to align with suppliers who share their values and are mindful of their environmental impact.*They need someone who can work in their Gloucester office at least 2 days per week.What skills will you need
  • 2-3 years+ experience as a 3rd Line/Field Engineer.
  • Strong track record in delivering IT infrastructure projects with involvement across planning, installation, and documentation.
  • Demonstrable experience working in modern environments with experience of Windows 10/11, Intune, Autopilot and Azure AD.
  • Public cloud hosting - MS Azure and AWS.
  • Windows Server (2016 / 2019 / 2022).
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, Defender).
  • Networking experience including LAN, WAN, Firewalls, Switching, Wireless.
  • Strong understanding of Information Security best practices.
  • Full UK driving licence and transport - travel to customer sites is required for this role.
Bonus points for:
  • Previous experience of working in an MSP.
  • Power BI experience.
  • Cloud based telephony experience.
  • Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V).
What you'll be doingThe entire company is made up of around 30 people, but you'll be joining a small team where every day will be different but ultimately. This could include on-premise to cloud server migrations, network installations, and Information Security projects. Working in a 3rd line capacity, you'll be identifying the root cause of issues and work with team members on complex issues and incidents. You'll be working in partnership with multiple customers, supporting projects both remotely and on site. With direct contact with customers at all levels from the shop floor to the boardroom, this one is for you if you enjoy a varied workload and have great people skills. Managing your own workload and deadlines, you'll have autonomy and will ensure SLAs and budgets are met. You will attend project update meetings, escalate any issues, and make recommendations to guide the customer on the best use of their IT solutions.You'll be expected to come into the office at least twice per week, with the rest of your time split accordingly between on-site project work at customer sites and remote working.What you'll get in return for your talentsYou'll be joining a business you'll feel proud to be a part of - they have a great reputation and really look after their employees which is reflected in their low employee turnover and focus on company culture.
