Overtime: Monday-Saturday at 1.5x hourly rate, Sunday at 2x hourly rateShift Pattern:Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30Friday: 08:00 - 13:00

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Assembler to join a well-established, precision engineering business in Droitwich. This role focuses on the production of high-integrity sub-assemblies for specialist equipment used in demanding industrial applications.Working as part of a skilled assembly team, you will be responsible for the accurate construction of components-particularly those involving copper work-to strict quality and technical standards. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, craftsmanship, and quality focus are essential.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture high-quality sub-assemblies used in advanced industrial systems.
  • Interpret detailed engineering and technical drawings with precision.
  • Braze copper tubing to bus bars and fittings (2mm - 6mm diameter).
  • Operate air-powered punching tools and precision assembly equipment.
  • Form and bend copper tubing to exact specifications and radii.
  • Carry out water pressure testing of manifolds and assemblies to verify quality.
  • Ensure all work meets strict internal quality and safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and maintain high housekeeping standards.
Experience & Requirements:
  • Proven background in mechanical assembly or copper fabrication.
  • Skilled in brazing copper components to a high standard.
  • Confident reading and working from engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Competent with workshop tools including air-powered and manual equipment.
  • Quality-focused with strong attention to detail and precision work ethos.
  • Comfortable working in a production environment that requires accuracy and consistency.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required to support project deadlines.
