Excellent Salary + Benefits (including hybrid working)Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a leading and distinguished national firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add an Audit Senior to the team in their Edinburgh office.As an Audit Senior here you will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors including some not for profits. The role involves leading audit assignments from the initial planning stage through to completion on a broad array of clients including stand-alone limited companies, group structured entities and listed businesses among others.You will take a lead role on each assignment you are involved with having responsibility for the supervision of junior staff. Whilst the role will be focused towards the completion of audit work, the successful person will also have the opportunity to gain exposure to advisory work and special projects.The position will be based in the firm's Edinburgh office with the client base consisting of a host of industry leading businesses from a multitude of sectors across the area and beyond.The ideal candidate will be ICAS / ACCA Qualified, or will be close to completing their studies, and will have significant experience of leading audit assignments. Take an active part in the audit planning and fraud discussion to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
Oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
Ensure planned audit work is appropriately completed to satisfy audit objectives
Supervising & developing more junior members of staff
Accounts preparation and review for limited companies as well as some sole traders & partnershipsSkills:ICAS / ACCA Qualified or Finalist
