
Software Project Manager

- Own and Deliver software development programs utilising proven methodologies in SW Project Management & Agile methodologies e.g. PMI ACP, SAFe
- Create and maintain detailed program plans while controlling requirements/scope, holding the responsible parties accountable to deadlines, maintaining risk logs, leading project meetings and chairing agile ceremonies
- Liaise with stakeholders such as Product leaders, Principal engineers, EHS, Safety, Quality, IP, Cyber and People leaders for timely & quality execution of the software development projects.
- Reporting to key stakeholders – Status, KPIs, Budgets, Risk Register, supporting Decisions & Escalations where needed
- Motivate matrix team to deliver on scope, time, cost (full budget control) and quality requirements following proper gate review processes, and deliver a cyber secure automation and controls system
- Coordinate where necessary with global teams, other functions including ITO, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance and Marketing
- Coordinating with other Stakeholders & Functions to mitigate dependencies e.g. C&P, V&V, Product Care, EHS, Safety, Quality, IP, Cyber, Technical Regs & Standards.
- Program Increment release paperwork and NPI Gate Reviews, Aligning Objectives with Program Sponsors, Product Managers, Principle Engineers & Team
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree and extensive program management experience of complex software development projects, preferably in Industrial Automation and Control Systems domain
- Formal Scrum Master & Project Management certifications such as PMI-ACP, Cert. Scrum Master, Product Owner. Experience with project planning software such as Primavera 6, MS Project, or similar is good to have.
- Experienced Scrum Master & Project Manager - able to guide the team with best industry practices.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience presenting to executive level stakeholders. Ability to interact effectively with different business departments and team members.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate the volatilities, uncertainties, complexities and ambiguities around managing the software programs.
- Natural Problem Solver, with desire to make an impact & to continuously find ways to maximise the team’s operational efficiency.
- Experience working with HVDC or any industrial automation and control system and/or similar engineering domain
- Experience in the past of hands-on Software development/delivery of controls systems and/or related Software Components e.g. Matlab / Simulink
