- Answer internal and external calls within agreed KPI and SLA standards.
- Provide efficient, courteous, and helpful support to all callers.
- Operate the internal bleep system.
- Proactively maintain the computer database of hospital personnel, departments, and telephone numbers.
- Log maintenance, portering, and cleaning requests.
- Respond to critical alarms and emergency phone lines.
- Undertake clerical duties as necessary to ensure smooth departmental operations.
- Cover shifts on public and bank holidays as required, supporting our 24/7, 365-day service.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to cover varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Calm under pressure, able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with a polite and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in logging and data management.
- Proactive, able to anticipate needs and take initiative when required.
- Team-oriented, supporting colleagues while managing individual responsibilities effectively.
