- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Has proven experience teaching Science, ideally across multiple key stages.
- Possesses significant experience and understanding of working with children and young people with SEMH, autism, and other special educational needs.
- Can create and deliver inspiring, differentiated, and engaging science lessons tailored to individual student needs and abilities.
- Is a patient, empathetic, and resilient practitioner with excellent classroom management skills.
- Can build strong, positive relationships with students, parents/carers, and a multidisciplinary team of colleagues.
- Is committed to a holistic and therapeutic approach to education.
- Is enthusiastic about practical and outdoor learning opportunities.
- Is a reflective practitioner, keen to develop their skills further in a specialist setting.
