- This is a full-time position, hourly salary of £13.50/hour, 35 hours per week, (5/7 2 x Breakfast 5.30am-2pm and 3 x 1pm-9pm). 5 x Breakfast shifts when covering annual leave.

- Prepare and cook breakfast and evening meals to a high standard, following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a kitchen section (e.g. grill, garnish, pastry).
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are always upheld.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations and equipment.
- Support the team during functions, conferences, and special events.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Contribute to menu development and daily specials when required.
- Uphold RNLI values and represent the organisation professionally.
- NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or institutional kitchen.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing demands.
- Passion for quality and consistency.
- Have hands-on experience working in a busy kitchen environment.
- Be confident managing a section during service.
- Show initiative, reliability, and a genuine passion for food.
- Thrive in a team setting and support colleagues with flexibility and enthusiasm.
- Be eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a high-performing kitchen.
- Relevant culinary qualification.
- Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
- Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
- Excellent team player and communicator.
- DBS and security checks required.
