The opportunity will include career development as an electrical engineer with potential to work on other major energy transition projects in both UK and international markets in the future.Main Accountabilities:This key role will report to the Electrical Lead on the project and will have responsibility for the following:
  • Participates in the timely and qualitative preparation of technical specifications and requisitions / CN / engineering deliverables in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Assists more senior engineers in ensuring that contractual technical specifications are met by external parties / suppliers.
  • Ensures proper communication with vendors and technical follow up of the orders.
  • Adheres to project target and priority such as the committed man/hours and technical robustness, budget & schedule target
  • Ensures timely reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the Lead Discipline Engineer.
  • Meets quality and HSE objectives of the project.
  • Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
Scope:The scope of this role is:
  • Dedicated to one or several projects
  • Working under close supervision of more senior specialist engineers
  • Application of procedures and standards
Knowledge:This role requires as a minimum:
  • Engineering Degree or HNC with fundamental level experience in Design and execution of projects in conventional energy & / new energy segments and facilities
  • Entry level or Fundamental experience
  • Knowledge of equipment / activity
  • Fluency in English
