Job Title: Family Worker and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL)Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per yearSalary: ALT Grade F - £28,142.00 to £30,024.00Actual Salary: ALT Grade F - £24,098.43 to £25,710.01Closing Date: Friday 12th September 2025, MiddayWe are seeking a committed and experienced Family worker and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) to join our dedicated safeguarding team at Neale-Wade Academy. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all our students. If you are passionate about safeguarding children and young people, and have the skills to support and guide staff in this area, we would love to hear from you.About the role:As the DDSL, you will take shared responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school. You will work closely with staff, students, families, and external agencies to ensure all concerns are managed appropriately and in line with legislation and policy.
