If so this could be the role for you!To be responsible for providing an effective service for all patients referred to the Radiology Department.The successful candidate must be flexible, forward thinking and proactive and require a commitment to ensure we provide a high quality service to our patients. This is a challenging role which requires excellent communication and empathy skills.To contribute to the delivery of a high quality Radiology Service across the Trust and Community.The position is a 37.5 hour post. The hours will include evening, weekends and all Bank Holidays although this is worked on a rotational and fair basis.The successful candidate will work at the Hereford County Hospital site initially and then in rotation between this and our CDC site which will open in the summer of 2025.For more information about the CDC visit Community Diagnostic CentreMain duties of the job
  • To work together with other staff to promote a smooth and efficient work flow through the department in which he/she is based.
  • To be proactive and forward thinking.
  • To participate in a range of shifts, to include evening and weekend shifts as required, in line with service requirements and demands. This also includes working across our 2 sites (County Hospital and Diagnostic Centre) as and when required.
  • To assist the Radiology Admin Manager in undertaking regular reviews of the office protocols and guidelines by providing advice on changes in working processes.
  • To undertake any other clerical duties that may be necessary for the speedy progression of both results and patients through the department to include secretarial support as required
