- Manage international finance operations with specific emphasis on the US market
- Forecast monthly, quarterly and annual results
- Create budgets for all our teams
- Report for investors
- Allocate resources and manage cash flows
- Supervise the finance professional who takes care of the day-to-day finance function
- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations
- Work with HR/Operations teams to standardise processes
- Prepare quarterly and end of year financial reports for the Senior Leadership team and the Board of Directors
- Recommend cost-reducing solutions
- Experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role
- Experience in managing US and UK accounts
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
- MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.g. CFA/CPA) is a plus
- Leadership abilities
- Solid analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent knowledge of forecasting models
- In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
- A professional with proven experience as a stand-alone Finance Director or in a similar role in a startup or fast-paced environment (bonus points for an interest in health tech/mental health space)
- You have good knowledge of USA market regulations and tax implications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Your default is to problem solve and craft scalable processes
- Good technical knowledge of the internal audit process
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly
- Likes to work autonomously and cross-functionally
- Precise time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Experience in developing and implementing financial strategies, financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Knowledge of different funding sources and structures and proven experience in revenue growth strategies
- Advanced financial modelling skills for scenario planning and decision making is essential
