
New Trains Acceptance Engineer

- Support the delivery and acceptance of a new fleet of metro trains through testing, commissioning, and entry into service.
- Liaise with the rolling stock manufacturer, ensuring all technical requirements and contractual obligations are met.
- Participate in a intense rolling inspection schedule: 2 units inspected every 2 weeks, followed by a 2-week documentation and acceptance reporting cycle.
- Monitor and assess test data, reliability trends, and fault reports to ensure safety and performance standards.
- Coordinate defect resolution and support investigations into technical issues during the acceptance period.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth transition into day-to-day service.
- Produce reports and documentation as part of the formal acceptance process.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Railway Engineering.
- Experience in rolling stock acceptance, commissioning, or fleet introduction projects.
- Strong knowledge of railway systems, safety standards, and testing procedures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
