
Senior Environmental Chemist- PFAS

- Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of medical device products
- Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems (HPLC, IC & GC), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, FT-IR, ICP, DSC and dissolution apparatus
- Consult with clients to understand their testing needs
- Develop and adapt specialized PFAS testing for client specific projects
- Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
- Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
- Prepare standards and samples for analysis
- Execute method transfer protocols
- Document work as required for GMP compliance
- Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Bachelor's degree preferred in chemistry, biochemistry, or related degree concentration
- 3 years of industry experience using chromatography in an Environmental or cGMP environment
- 3 years of industry experience with PFAS testing or characterization
- Experience operating CIC and HPLC systems.
- Experience with Solid Phase Extraction
- Experience with ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 testing
- Experience in a cGMP, GLP, and/or ISO 17025 compliant/accredited lab.
- Experience with method development and validation
- Polymeric and/or PFAS experience/education
- Authorization to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship.
