
SEN Teaching Assistant

- Tailored Student Support: Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Encouraging Independence: Helping students develop key life skills and build their confidence, enabling them to become more independent learners.
- Classroom Assistance: Working closely with the class teacher to prepare materials, set up activities, and ensure a smooth, positive learning environment for all.
- Effective Communication: Being a valuable link between the student and the teacher, sharing observations and providing feedback on progress and challenges.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid Child DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).
- A Supportive Nature: The ability to be understanding, and encouraging, especially during challenging moments.
- A "Can-Do" Attitude: Someone who is proactive, resilient, and ready to find creative ways to help students succeed.
- Strong People Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with students, teachers, and other staff.
- Relevant Experience: Prior experience in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
