Job Description – HGV Shunter Driver (Nights, LE10 Area)We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics client based in the LE10 area. This is a yard-based role, offering ongoing night shifts and a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of trailers within the yard, working closely with the transport team. The role involves no manual handling or on-the-road driving.Key Responsibilities:Shunting trailers within a clean and organised yardLiaising with the transport office and yard teamConducting routine vehicle checksEnsuring all safety procedures and site rules are followed.Requirements:Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licenceCPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious shunting experience preferredStrong safety awareness and attention to detailComfortable working fixed night shifts (18:00–03:00)Shift Pattern:Nights: 18:00 start – approx. 03:00 finishMonday to Friday (occasional weekends may be available)Pay:£18/hourLTD drivers acceptedContract Type:Temporary to Permanent (subject to performance and attendance)Apply Now:Contact our team on 01827 726330
