Our Services are well regarded, and we are proud of our reputation for ensuring the best outcomes for disabled children.As part of an exciting expansion programme, we are currently establishing a new residential home within the Norwich area called `Applewood`, which will provide holistic care for young people with learning disabilities who have autism and sensory needs who may display behaviours of distress.`Applewood` has the potential to provide a home for two young people or to operate as a solo occupancy home. The service is situated in a Norwich suburb which has good bus links as well as being close to the rail station in the city. It's location also means that the children who live there will also have good access to local shops, parks and other conveniently situated leisure facilities such as ten-pin bowling venues, swimming pools and cinemas as well as providing easy access to the Norfolk coast.We are now recruiting for a variety of roles for this exciting new service and there is the opportunity to become involved at the very outset. You will manage and lead the team in ensuring the best outcomes for children. You will supervise, mentor and develop the team. You are required to take part in on calls for the service. Ideally you will hold a children workforce diploma level 5 and have experience working within a children's residential home.Senior Residential Children's Practitioner - £39,862-£41,771You will support the assistant manager in the running of the home. You will support the manager in supervision and development of the staff team. You are required to take part in on call duties and work occasional weekends. Ideally you will hold a children workforce diploma level 5 and have experience working within a children's residential home.Residential Children's Practitioner H Grade - £34,434-£36,363You will support the managers with supervisions and on call duties. You will also be providing direct care to the children living within the home and contribute to risk assessments and care plans. You will be required to work, days, nights and weekends including bank holidays to meet the children' s needs. Ideally you will hold a children workforce diploma level 3 and have experience working within a children's residential home.Residential Children's Practitioner G Grade - £31,537-£33,699You will provide care to the children living within the home to ensure their needs are met and provide opportunities for them to grow and develop. You will be required to work, days, nights and weekends including bank holidays to meet the children' s needs. Ideally you will hold a children workforce diploma level 3 and have experience working within a children's residential home.Night Residential Children's Practitioner G Grade - £31,537-£33,699You will provide care to the children living within the home to ensure their needs are met and provide opportunities for them to grow and develop. You will be required to work mainly at night however it does involve occasional day work; you also be required to work weekends and bank holidays to meet the children's needs.
