Package: £40,000 - £45,000 pa + Company vehicleJoin a Leading Drainage and Highways Contractor!Are you an experienced supervisor in the drainage or highways sector? We're looking for a talented Drainage Supervisor to manage day-to-day operations for a rapidly growing Highways Drainage contract.Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise up to 20 operatives and vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.
- Conduct staff briefings, toolbox talks, and provide technical support to crews.
- Prepare job packs, manage dewatering bay, and carry out safety, quality, and equipment audits.
- Plan and coordinate works with the depot management team.
- Oversee material and plant orders.
- Ensure workforce compliance with training and safety standards.
- Proven supervisory experience in drainage or highways maintenance.
- Hands-on knowledge of combination units, jet vacs, and dewatering equipment.
- Full UK Driving Licence (LGV Class C and Driver CPC preferred).
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong people management and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with Chapter 8 and traffic management.
- Experience managing a directly employed team.
- Monday to Friday, 6am - 4pm
- Flexibility to work night / late shift when required is desirable.
- Salary: £40,000-£45,000 (DOE)
