Male Weekend Support WorkerPay rate: Up to £13.00 per hourAre you a compassionate individual looking to make a difference in people’s lives? We’d like you to join us at Jane Lewis as a Weekend Support Worker in St Leonards area of Hastings.This role is to support a 15 year old teenage boy who has autism and challenging behaviour. Supporting him with medication, personal care, managing challenging behaviour and building a good rapport in your communications with him. You will also take him out and about on adventures.All shifts will be double ups, so there will always be two support workers on shift together.Ideal candidates will have experience with challenging behaviour.Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.As a Support Worker we can offer you:
  • Pay rates - £13.00 per hour
  • Full specialist training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Clinical Care Manager provided
  • Regular consistent work with rolling rotas

As a Support Worker, you must:
  • Be over the age of 18 to apply
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
  • Have a valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Have 6 months prior experience in a healthcare setting
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
  • Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
