Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager covering the Loughborough site. The primary responsibilities of this role include, but not limited to, supporting business process and protocols including providing necessary input and support to ensure continuity of existing legacy part manufacture, new product introduction handover and lean manufacturing and tooling activities.Responsibilities· Troubleshoot/inspect/repair/replace and maintain existing tooling and associated equipment where required.· Liaise with tooling suppliers to produce statements of work for tooling supply.· Control schedule for tool delivery adherence.· Support waterjet cell with creation of new programmes.· Support production modules to ensure production continuation.· Support other ME’s where required.Qualifications· Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.· Confident to research and analyse data effectively.· Able to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports.· Decision making skills.· Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and web-browsers.· Knowledge of SAP and general ERP requirements.· Understanding of Engineering Change Processes.· Good understanding of manufacturing processes.· Knowledge of programming.
