As a Teaching Assistant (TA) you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational process in the classroom. Working closely with the class teacher, as the TA you will assist in providing high-quality education to students, helping them reach their academic and personal goals.Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing instructional activities.
  • Support individual or small groups of students in their learning, providing additional assistance as needed.
  • Help create a positive learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources, including text and multimedia for lessons.
  • Administer and grade assignments and assessments under the direction of the lead teacher.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher regarding students' needs.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment.
  • Assist with classroom management and discipline.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and educational workshops as required.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educational staff regarding student progress.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to student records
Requirements- Have experience working with children- Be able to support at least 2 days per week on a day to day supply basis between the hours of 08:30 - 15:30- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
