We're on the lookout for a Trade Counter Customer Advisor with engineering experience from any background - whether it's automotive, agriculture, plant machinery, manufacturing, or mechanical repair, your product knowledge will be highly valued.This is a face-to-faceposition where you'll be supporting a wide variety of customers - from farmers and tradespeople to estate managers and landowners. You'll be the go-to person for expert product advice and support.Key Responsibilities:
- Advising customers in person on engineering tools and products
- Recommending the right solutions based on each customer's needs
- Building genuine rapport with a wide range of people
- Managing stock levels and placing orders
- Delivering outstanding service and technical support
- Engineering or mechanical experience in any sector (agriculture, cars, plant, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with people from all backgrounds
- Confidence in a customer-facing environment
- Good problem-solving ability and product knowledge
- Basic IT and inventory experience
- Full, clean UK driving license to do local deliveries
