- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that align with the KS1 curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to engage students and promote active learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and behaviour.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience teaching in a KS1 setting is desirable but not mandatory.
