Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Vacancy - Buckinghamshire Independent Garage
  • Position: Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
  • Location: Buckinghamshire
  • Basic Salary: Up to £35,000 + bonus
  • OTE: £41,500
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • No weekend work

My client is a reputable independent garage based just outside of Milton Keynes. They are well known in the community with over 100 years experience servicing and repairing different makes of cars and light commercial vehicles.Their workshop is up to date with the latest diagnostic equipment and highly experienced/qualified technicians. They're looking to add to their busy team with another capable Vehicle Technician, offering a great package and top employee benefits.Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out diagnostics, repairs, and servicing on various makes and models
  • Conduct MOT tests on a variety of vehicles in line with DVSA guidelines, ensuring safety and road worthiness.
  • Use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex issues
  • Maintain high standards of work quality and customer service
  • Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
  • Work collaboratively within the team to support the garage's excellent reputation

Requirements for this Vehicle Technician role:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
  • Valid MOT license
  • Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
