Learning Coach for ASD & ADHDLocation: Walsall (WS1)Start Date: ASAPDuration: Full time, on-goingSalary: £90 - 120 per dayThe School/role:We are partnering with an excellent new academy in Walsall to recruit a Learning Coach. Located on the edge of Walsall town center, the school offers effective Alternative Provision for the youth of Walsall. As part of our commitment to transforming lives, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our team.As a Learning Coach, you will work under the guidance of the Senior Leadership Team to provide exceptional pastoral care and in-class support to our students. You will play a crucial role in delivering personalised attention, fostering positive relationships, and ensuring the success of each student in our care. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs and autism (ASD) in and out of class. Supporting students in lessons to enhance learning outcomes
Attending meetings and serving as a key contact for parents/carers
Delivering Skills (Personal Development) activities to assigned student groups
Collaborating with teaching staff to create a supportive learning environment
Covering short-term staff absences as directed by SLT
Ensuring effective safeguarding measures are in place for all students
