Together, we work across departments within Herts Equipment Service to deliver a top-notch experience for our clients and their families. Everyone plays a part in making things run smoothly, and we’re proud of the service we provide.There’s also room to grow - If you meet the role’s challenges and expectations, there’s potential to move up through the pay points.About the roleWe’re on the lookout for a Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of daily living aids, non-stock items, and medical equipment. You’ll be working both in clients’ homes and at our workshop in Mundells, Welwyn Garden City.Some of the equipment can be bulky, and you’ll need to be comfortable lifting items upstairs when needed. It’s a varied role where no two days are the same—and you’ll be making a real difference to people’s lives.Once fully trained, you'll join a rota to provide support outside standard hours:
- Weekdays: 5pm–10pm
- Weekends & Bank Holidays: 9am–10pm
- Valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Weekdays: 5pm–10pm
- Weekends & Bank Holidays: 9am–10pm
