We are seeking a motivated Supervisor to oversee technology works and traffic management requirements on a major highways framework. The role involves day-to-day leadership of operational teams and subcontractors, ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and quality standards.
This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of service delivery, coordinating traffic management, maintenance, and emergency response activities, while actively supporting team development and asset management.
Key Responsibilities
·Supervise technology works, routine maintenance, winter maintenance, and emergency response activities.
·Arrange and oversee traffic management requirements to ensure safe delivery.
·Lead and coordinate operational teams and subcontractors against productivity and quality targets.
·Manage plant, fleet, and equipment, driving efficiency and minimising damage incidents.
·Review and manage RAMS, road space applications, and compliance checks.
·Produce accurate weekly cost and value reports using company systems.
·Promote a strong safety culture, positive team spirit, and professional service delivery.
Requirements
·Strong knowledge of highways technology works and traffic management.
·Qualifications in 12A/B, 12C, and 12D (T7 desirable).
·Experience in supervising teams, subcontractors, and traffic management operations.
·Ability to review RAMS, road space applications, and undertake site audits.
·Proficient in Word, Excel, and basic IT/tablet systems.
·Flexible, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
·Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach.
