We are looking for a talented individual to join our dynamic Learning and Development team as a L&D Assistant.This permanent position will have responsibility for the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects. This post holder will report to the L&D Manager, work closely with the L&D Coordinator and will support the coordination of activities for the operational and clinical teams as well as the wider business.Hours: 30 37.5 5 hours per week but part time and flexible options available would be considered.Rate of pay £12.60 per hourInterviews scheduled Wednesday 24th September 2025You must have right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer graduate or visa sponsorship, and no visa extension can be offered for this role.Main duties of the jobThe role will include supporting the organisation in ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning management systems, processes and policies, supporting in the onboarding of new starters for training, training administration, scheduling and logistics of training events.The successful candidate must have exceptional communication; interpersonal skills be self-motivated. The post holder will be responsible in providing an efficient and effective administrative service with excellent attention to detail. In addition, possess outstanding IT skills, including experience of Microsoft Word and Excel as a minimum, knowledge of Rota master and Adastra would be beneficial although training would be given. Arrange external and internal bookings on to education events within agreed timeframes. Assist at learning events welcoming attendees and facilitators and ensure smooth running of the events. Liaising with training providers to ensure the smooth running of our organisational learning and development.Record attendance and update training records for colleagues as required. Update our Learning Management System with completed e-learning and store certificates of completion.
