- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of your business unit across all shifts.
- Deliver site KPIs and strategic Profit Improvement Plans (PIPs) within budget.
- Optimise staffing and resources to achieve targets efficiently and sustainably.
- Support and implement site-wide operational objectives in collaboration with the wider team.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and high-performing working environment.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members, with support from HR, including performance reviews and succession planning.
- Drive continuous improvement across people, processes, and systems.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and customer specifications.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of housekeeping and hygiene.
- Maintain strong communication between teams, departments, and shifts.
- Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety, HR, and company policies.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
- Strong problem-solving, organisational, and decision-making capabilities.
- IT literacy - confident in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of workplace Health & Safety standards.
- Experience within FMCG or food production.
- Third-level qualification or equivalent.
- IOSH / NEBOSH qualification.
- Advanced Food Hygiene certification.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or project management.
