
Financial Reporting Accountant

- Prepare and deliver accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support business planning processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Provide technical advice on financial reporting standards and updates.
- Degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification.
- Newly qualified Accountant (ICAEW or equivalent) with strong technical skills.
- Experience working in top accounting firms.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate confidently with accountants and non-accountants, managing a number of stakeholders, including senior members.
- Comfortable taking on ownership and responsibility, whilst being effective working collaboratively.
- Demonstrating commercial awareness
- Experience with production of audit or statutory accounts.
- Ability to produce well thought through, clearly laid out and expressed schedules and papers.
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills.
