Quality Inspector – Permanent position – Fareham - £18ph (from £35,100)Either early OR late shift – 25% uplift working latesDo you have experience inspecting CNC machined parts keen for a new challenge?What’s on offer?
  • Days shift: 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday, OR
  • Lates shift: 2pm to midnight, Mon to Thur (enjoy a 3-day weekend + allowance)

About the company:Based in Segensworth, near Fareham, this is a well-established global manufacturer specialising in complex advanced mechanical assemblies. Working close with the machining team and other inspectors (around 30 professionals), components are machined by lathes, milling machines and sliding heads. Your role as Inspector will focus on precision inspection of the CNC components working from Engineering drawings. You’ll use various hand measuring equipment, CMM’s and Optical Machines and be keen to collaborate accordingly in the resolution of issues and relay findings accordingly to the Senior Inspector.What do you need?
  • Experience inspecting components, CNC machined parts.
  • Understanding Engineering Drawings
  • Great communication skills are a must!
  • A problem solving nature, always wanting to find the best solution!
  • Ambition, drive, a genuine team player
  • CMM and OMM experience advantageous, but training will be given.
