As a senior member of the team working autonomously in demonstrating safe, competent clinical decision-making skills and delivering expert urgent care, including assessment and diagnostic skills. You will assess and diagnose patients presenting with a wide range of minor injuries and illnesses, planning their care, prescribing treatment and discharging or referring them as appropriate to other healthcare professionals. Working effectively, under pressure, in a fast-paced environment as part of our multi professional team.We offer a challenging and rewarding experience, striving for excellence in patient safety, quality and continuous improvement. We are committed to enhancing our service through high levels of training and development at both Degree and Masters Levels.Do you have/are you;
  • Registered nurse or paramedic with current registration (NMC/HCPC)
  • Level 7 minor illness and minor injury advanced practice qualification or equivalent
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional development (CPD)
  • Experience of teaching assessing and clinical supervision in Practice
  • Independent non-medical prescriber (or willingness to undertake course)
