Level 2 Teaching Assistant- Reputable Primary School in Burnley- Full-time, 8:am – 3:30pm- Monday – Friday, term time only- Year 3 classWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive primary school in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, helping them to achieve their potential both academically and personally.Responsibilities:Work closely with the class teacher to support learning activities.Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.Help to create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.Support the social, emotional, and educational needs of pupils.Contribute to planning, assessment, and classroom organisation where appropriate.Requirements:Experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential).A positive, caring, and patient approach.Good communication and teamwork skills.A commitment to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing.Minimum level 2 in a relevant qualificationWe are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work in eaither key stage 1 or key stage 2. As a Teaching Assistant, you would be required to provide general classroom support to the class teacher and pupils. This would include assisting with the preparation of the classroom and learning materials, providing small group intervention support when necessary, and upholding the school behaviour policy.This is the ideal role for anyone looking for an exciting opportunity within a supportive and reputable primary school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
