Job Title: Senior Machine Operative
Location: New Mills
Remuneration: £14.97 - £17.52 per hour

  • Operate and maintain machinery with precision to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Supervise a shift when trained, providing guidance and support to your team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards to uphold our excellent reputation.
  • utilise your FLT Counterbalance licence where needed to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster a positive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and machinery performance.
Skills:
  • Proven machine operating skills with a strong track record in a similar environment.
  • Experience in supervising teams, ensuring productivity and safety.
  • A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
