- Building and Managing Partner Networks:
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new strategic business/ lead generation partners. Negotiate partnership terms and agreements.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with existing partners to maximize collaboration and profitability.
- Develop joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
- Monitor partner performance and identify areas for improvement or new opportunities.
- Driving new business Growth:
- Create and execute business development strategies with partners to drive new customer acquisition.
- Develop and deliver compelling value propositions to potential clients through marketing and market knowledge
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a strong focus on new business opportunities.
- Relationship Management:
- Foster trust-based relationships with key decision-makers, and influencers within partner organizations.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Regularly report on partner network health, new business opportunities, and growth metrics.
- Provide insights into front book/ new sales growth performance, tracking KPIs, and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of the energy sector (renewables, utilities, energy transition, etc.).
- Familiarity with energy technologies, grid systems, and emerging trends like smart grids, storage solutions, or EV charging infrastructure.
- Knowledge of energy policies, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Proven experience in business development, partner management, or sales within the energy sector.
- Track record of successfully building and managing partner networks, including identifying and securing new strategic relationships.
- Experience with sales growth strategies, lead generation, sales funnels, and market expansion.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to build and execute long-term business plans.
- Results-driven with a proven ability to meet or exceed growth targets.
- Technical Acumen:
- Familiarity with CRM software. (current Hubspot with a view to a salesforce integration)
- Strong excel and report writing skills.
- Travel & Flexibility:
- Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and networking events as required.
