Your Base The BC&R team operates across Manchester, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, and London, with recruitment open in these locations and surrounding areas. Hybrid and flexible working is fully embedded in the firm's culture.Who We're Looking For
  • Solicitor or barrister with 5+ years' PQE
  • Strong background in contentious regulatory work
  • Excellent technical knowledge and robust legal grounding
  • Outstanding client handling and interpersonal skills
  • A team-oriented professional with autonomy and leadership potential
  • Backgrounds from private practice, in-house, or the Bar are all welcomed
The Role You will manage a broad spectrum of contentious regulatory work, including:
  • Health & Safety
  • Environmental Law
  • Food Safety
  • Inquests
  • Product Liability / Recall
The role is primarily litigation and enforcement-focused, though the team also handles advisory matters. You will:
  • Manage your own caseload
  • Contribute to high-profile, large-scale projects
  • Supervise junior colleagues within a dynamic, supportive national team
