Job Description:Job Title Lead Front End EngineerLocation LondonCorporate Title Vice PresidentYou will play a key role in the transformation of Rates and Credit Fixed Income technology landscape. Your key responsibilities
  • Develop a suite of modern, real-time, high-performance React applications to support core rates and credit trading workflows
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions. Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows and rapidly deliver impactful features that improve business efficiency
  • Promote best practices in front-end architecture, testing, CI/CD and code quality. Participate in code reviews to ensure high engineering standards across the team
  • Play an important role in the modernization of the fixed income tech stack by influencing platform direction, and driving adoption of modern tooling and frameworks.
Your skills and experience
  • Expertise in React and TypeScript – deep expertise in building complex, high-performance applications using modern front-end tooling (e.g. vite, nx, playwright)
  • Strong System Architecture Fundamentals – proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and modular front-end architectures, ensuring clean separation of concerns, optimal performance, and long-term platform sustainability
  • Experience with Real-Time, Data-Driven applications – hands-on experience delivering low-latency, event-driven UIs that handle large, rapidly changing data sets, leveraging technologies such as WebSockets, SSE and Rx
  • Collaboration Across the Stack – ability to work closely with backend engineers and product stakeholders to deliver cohesive, end-to-end solutions
