This role sits within the firm's nationally recognised Real Estate Group, working as part of a well-established Planning team.Owing to sustained growth, the firm is looking to appoint a solicitor with a minimum of seven years' post-qualification experience in planning law.The RoleYou will advise on a wide range of planning and environmental matters, including:Enforcement, listed buildings, compulsory purchase and compensationDrafting and negotiating section 106 and infrastructure agreementsPreparing planning applications, certificates of lawfulness, objections, witness statements and statutory declarationsRepresenting clients at inquiries and hearings, including conducting advocacy where appropriateInstructing Counsel and attending conferencesAdvising on planning matters relating to large-scale infrastructure, including data centre developmentsThis is a varied role offering involvement in both public and private sector work across multiple industries, including housing, energy, and commercial development.About YouThe successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:At least 7 years' PQE in planning law, ideally gained at a recognised practiceExperience advising on complex planning matters, with sector expertise in housing, energy, or infrastructureStrong track record with issues specific to data centre developments is highly desirableNon-contentious environmental law and/or minerals planning experience would be an advantageStrong technical skills and commercial acumenA collaborative approach and a genuine interest in contributing to a high-performing national teamApplyFor more information or to arrange a confidential discussion, please contact Rob at TSR Legal:02920 388100 / rob@tsrlegal.co.ukAll applications and enquiries will be treated in strict confidence.
