Smart Teachers is looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a 'Good' school in Southall, Ealing from SeptemberAbout the role
  • Role begins in September 2025 and is for the duration of the academic year, Mon-Fri 8:30-15:30
  • Liaise effectively and work in partnership with an experienced Class Teacher.
  • The successful Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with children on a 1-1 or group basis. They will also assist with break and lunchtime duties.

  • Leadership provide appropriate support for all members of staff
  • High proportions of pupils with SEND in each class with specialist provision
  • Over 90% of the pupils speak English as an additional language
RequirementsTo be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:
  • Experience in a primary school setting, working with children
  • Have a ‘child workforce only’ DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
  • Experience working with SEN children
