- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of all students.
- Provide one-on-one support to students, particularly those with special educational needs, including autism.
- Help create a positive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students requiring additional assistance.
- Facilitate small group activities and tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives.
- Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to teachers on individual achievements and challenges.
- Assist in the development of educational materials and resources that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative approach to education.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in mentoring and supporting children.
- Previous experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs , is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages and abilities.
- A background in tutoring or mentoring is advantageous, demonstrating an ability to educate and inspire young learners.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on students' lives are essential qualities for this role.
- Relevant qualifications in education or child development would be beneficial but are not mandatory.
