The Medical High Dependency Unit is seeking a dedicated band 3 Healthcare Support worker to join our dynamic team.As a key member of our Multidisciplinary team, you will support the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to acutely unwell patients who require an enhanced level of monitoring and support. This is a fast-paced and rewarding environment where your contribution will be valued every day.Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care under the supervision of registered nurses.
  • Assist with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and hygiene needs
  • Support clinical tasks such as venepuncture, catheter care, and wound care (following training and competency sign off).
  • Uphold infection prevention and control standards and contribute to a safe, clean environment.
  • Uphold patient safety with occasional oraganisational movements to other care areas.
What we are looking for
  • SVQ level 3 in healthcare, or a willingness to work towards this
  • A proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A calm, empathetic, and resilient approach to personal care
  • A willingness to undertake further training and development.
