Secondary SEND TA (Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant) required in Coventry, West Midlands.Start date: November 2025 - OngoingHave you got experience as a Teaching Assistant and want to make a real difference in pupils lives?Do you work well independently and as part of a team and are looking for a well respected, supportive new school to join?TeacherActive are working with a large, well respected secondary school in Coventry that are looking to take on a Teaching Assistant to join their team this new academic year to support students in KS3 and KS4. This fantastic school has been a leading way for pupil development in the area for many years and is well revered in for staff training. Applicants must have experience dealing with pupils with moderate learning difficulties such as ADHD, Autism & Asbergers and have previously worked in education for at least 6 months. The right candidate must be confident in the classroom & be able to take and act on direction from the Class Teacher.The school caters for students of various abilities and learning difficulties. The post requires a talented SEND TA who is flexible, enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting children with educational needs to join their team of dedicated staff.The role will include:
  • Assisting the Teacher with classroom preparation
  • Experience working with pupils KS3- KS4
  • 1:1 work with students who require additional support
  • Leading group work
  • Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
