As we continue growing at a fast pace, will you “Dare to Grow” with us?YOUR ROLEWe're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Driver team in Kettering as a Cat C Driver Apprentice. This is a fantastic chance to gain your Category C license, with the potential to progress to Cat C+E in the future, all while building a career in the logistics industry. On successful completion of the 8-month programme, you'll step into a permanent driver role within our team. Drive your career forward with us!Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel across the UK with hotspot areas in London, Birmingham, Manchester & Liverpool.This is a Monday - Friday role working 42 hours per week with start times between 5am & 8am. Paying £12.26 per hour.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Over the course of your apprenticeship, you'll spend two days a week training and three days working as a driver's mate, gaining hands-on experience in deliveries, customer service, paperwork and supporting our drivers.
  • Supporting deliveries across the UK to a wide range of customers.
  • Multi-drop work using tail lifts.
  • Using digital driver apps to manage routes and paperwork.
  • Working closely with our drivers to ensure safe, timely, and accurate deliveries.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Due to the early starts and travel requirements, it is essential you live within a commutable distance to Kettering.
  • A clean driving licence and over the age of 21 due to driving requirements.
  • A genuine passion for driving and logistics.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude
