- Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using Tailwind CSS and Symfony UX
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and external data sources

- Write clean code that is clear and understandable by others
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Work with senior developers, business stakeholders and wider development team to understand the initial scope for a new project

- Frontend development experience with LESS/SASS or Tailwind CSS, HTML5 and modern TypeScript / JavaScript
- Understanding of UX principles and best practices
- Knowledge of technical SEO and performance optimisation techniques
- Experience of using Version Control systems such as Git as part of a team
- Familiar with Linux or Mac OS
- At least 2 years’ experience in creating and maintaining object oriented PHP7 or PHP8 based systems
- An understanding of the MVC approach to development
- Experience of working with MySQL (We use v8 currently)
- Experience of using version control systems (such as Git) as part of a team
- A passion for adhering to coding standards and clean code
- Experience with Redis, OpenSearch/ElasticSearch
- Strong Symfony (or similar) knowledge, including Doctrine ORM & Symfony UX
- JavaScript skills (object composition, scope)
- RESTful API design & automated testing (e.g. Playwright, PHPUnit)
- Familiar with Docker, Webpack, NPM, ESLint, Stylelint
- Understanding of Agile & CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of design patterns & practical application
- Comfortable with Linux/Mac OS
- Retail experience or understanding of retail processes
