We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Waking Nights Support Worker.Females only due to service needs.All applicants must either drive and have their own vehicle or live within a 5 mile radius of Bodenham due to the location and shift times.Moor Court Care Home in Bodenham, midway between Hereford and Leominster, is a residential service where we support up to 14 adults with varied needs, including learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours.What we’ll give you:We will ensure you are rewarded for all your hard work, which is why we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes but is not limited to:

  • Full time 38.5 hours per week (would be three shifts one week, four the next), 4 week rolling rota.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Supporting individuals with their personal, physical, and emotional needs throughout the night.
  • Completion of nightly duties, including domestic and administrative tasks.
  • Undertaking training online and face to face where necessary.
  • Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
  • Personal care.
  • Shift times: 9 pm-8 am.
Who you are:
  • The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
  • Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Motivated and a team player.
  • Experience working in a social care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours preferred but not essential.
  • Females only due to the needs of the service.
