- Develop and implement robust financial reporting processes to ensure transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported on time.
- Act as a business partner to the wider business, driving continuous improvement across systems, processes, and financial operations
- Manage daily cash flow effectively, ensuring proper prioritisation where necessary to meet financial commitments.
- Collaborate with different departments for the preparation of annual budgets while also delivering accurate financial forecasts.
- Analyse financial performance by investigating and explaining account variances against budget expectations.
- Lead and inspire the finance team, fostering growth through hands-on coaching, training, and mentoring to encourage a culture of excellence and outstanding teamwork
- ACA Qualified Accountant with previous experience gained within Audit is essential
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller/ Finance Director, ideally in the manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail, with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience with international accounting practices and operations is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture and develop strong working relationships across regions.
