- Lead, organise, and motivate teams to deliver automation and control projects to client specifications and deadlines.
- Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and manage project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present regular project progress reports, facilitating project meetings with multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive project quality through compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Support the development of junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and best practice in project management.
- Significant experience managing engineering, automation, or control systems projects, ideally within industrial sectors.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities with a people-centric and collaborative approach.
- Proven track record of delivering projects to deadline, budget, and specification.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage contracts, procurement, and project finances.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (such as Prince2, PMBOK, or Agile) and use of project planning and reporting tools.
- Relevant degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical or business field.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
